Dream cars list

Just waiting SP1 pack, i'd like to start a thread where you can discuss regarding endurance cars you like, and you'd like to see in this mod. BUT is not a request thread, absolutely not, just for to see what car you like and..what car you don't like. You can write cars and..your opinions about.

Of course, there are lots of cars but.. in future i hope to see some of that in this mod.
Personally i really like LM Prototype, they have a great charm (specially LMP1 cars). I'm not a diesel fan, because i don't like sounds and..are too much fast compared to petrol cars.
GT1 cars are really fast and..some of those are really important for motorsport history and world.
In GT2 cars..i really like BMW E46 GTR. Fantastic car, really fast and "aggressive". Pure sex on track. I really like Ford GT too..specially sound. I hope in future can improve performance (i mean Robertson Racing ALMS car), because this car have A LOT of potential (see Matech cars), they need a bit of help.
My preferite category (to drive) is GT2. I really like it, there is a lot of fun here, cars are not so much different and you can see always great fights.

So what's your opinion? what's your preferite car? what car don't you like and why?

No, i'm trying to speak regarding real cars. please next time read my first post better. And..no need to quote all

No need to use aggresive tone guy. I've no problem opening another thread to discuss that, it allows us to see what you like the more. Just i want to be clear for everybody you can discuss that but we will not use that to make the choices of cars for the mod, thoose discussions are made inside the team only.

Well, i totally failed with this topic. My intention is NOT to give you cars to do, sadly i wasn't too much clear (i don't speak so much english sadly). My intention was ONLY to write regarding real cars, what car you prefer/like in each category, and why. Was nice to talk about our passion.

But, clearly you don't want to discuss about was just an attempt to speak and discuss something different than mod ( ..most of recent post are regarding release date -_-')

Just regarding real cars, in your list what car do you prefer? (in each category)

In my list:

-for LMP1 class, i had a simpathy for the Pescarolo Judd; i really like this car..sadly, in Le Mans, you can't compete against diesel cars. I really don't understand why ACO took this decision. I'd like to see in future some rules who will work regarding diesel performance.

-for LMP2 class, i REALLY like the Lola Mazda; i'm a Patron Highcroft fan but..i really like the Dyson's car. I love line and..his engine. What a pure sound. Sadly seems to be a bit fragile.

-for GT1 class..well my heart is for Maserati MC12. I love that car..i love sound, his body, line. For me is one of most beautiful GT1s ever built. Sadly has never be allowed to run at LeMans for his structure (dunno if is it correct in english but engine/trasmission is "structural" for suspensions ecc..).

-For GT2 class, my preferite class, well...choice is difficult because all cars have different
appeal: Ferrari F430 is fast, aggressive, a pure italian GT. Porsche is the "german perfection", incredibly fast and sexy. I really like Aston Martin V8 Vantage too, specially his sound. Wow, that V8 sounds fantastic. New BMW E92 is really good yes but..the old E46 GTR was definetly "insane". Yes, i prefer old car.
For me..my heart is 50% for Porsche RSR and for F430 GT2. I'm not able to decide!
Next year will be the new 458 italia GT2 but..i'm not a huge fan of this car. I prefer the F430. But, i'm waiting to see first images from Risi Competizione.

LMP1 i love the Pescarolo Judd, it just sounds so dam good it must be in this mod. I totaly agree with you about the Deisel cars, why are they existing so fast ahead of the Petrol is frankly 'silly' I hope they change it soon.

LMGT1 i am most looking forward to hearing the Scream of the Lamborghini 6.5L v12 'I think' screaming around Silverstone as i imaged it in my dreams after 2008 when i first heard it as a 13 year old boy. It is my childhood dream.

LMgt2 Is i must admit not my favorite catagory but Id love to see the Aston Martin (only becuase it is British) but, I must admit i don't realy have a fav car in GT2 50/50 with Ferrari F430 gtc and the Porsche.

IMHO Aston sounds are the best sounds i ever heard in a sim. Really good job. I'm just curious to ear F430 V8. This car have a particolar sound, really variable (specially in downshift). When i went in Monza for Open GT, well..sound of F430 was incredible.

Two words regarding new FIA GT1 championship: well..sadly i don't like it; imho old config was really better (GT1+GT2, and only one race). What do you think about? do you like this new formula, and..specially "new" cars? here not. I prefer a lot older seasons.
Ratel did new rules for to permit GT1 cars to race at Le Mans but...lol probably this was last year for GT1s at Le Mans. So, was better to mainain old rules, and continue that great formula.

Actually best serie available for is ALMS; i'm italian and..sadly here is almost impossibile to follow it but...i really like it. Last round at Laguna Seca was great (apart all SC exits, too much). I really enjoyed LMP battle, Acura VS Lola Mazda until a mechanical problem for this last one. Great battle in GT class too..lol really good fights. I really like GTC and LMPC class; i first races i didn't like it but....well there's a lot of fan here too

Almost nobody in the team like FIAGT 2010, it's just crap. And i'm not very confident for the 2011 ACO rules too.

Yeah, i don't undestand specially new category "GT Endurance", with two under-categories (PRO and AM). I don't find any good reason for this.
Regarding GT1 class..well, actually only few teams have some interest to develop this expensive (but spectacular) category, and..looking ALMS races with only GT class (GT2 cars) there is great show too. So, for me is not a big problem to delete GT1 class in Le Mans.
Same discussion can be done for LMPs classes, but..in Le Mans would be nice to mantain two different categories, not like ALMS race with only one category.
And, yes, like posted before, i'd like to see new rules regarding LMP1 diesel cars. They're killing class IMHO.

I love your sounds, they are almost perfect, i think it just needs to have a higher note at the top end rev's. so it screams, at the moment it seems to sound underpowered, but only slightly. Im just saying if they were louder then it would give the mod more of a powerfull theme.

Youtube sounds are crap (good maybe for your ears but not to use them for work) and impossible to use in order to make good and clean sounds.

The more possible we make our own samples, we dont use stuff we can find on the internet.

true, but not yet, i hope it will be becuase it is a awsome sounding car, with that v10 engine from the Gallardo, amazing looks too which is a added bonus.

I'm not a huge fan of this car...dunno but i don't like it, too much "cold", like most of Audi. For street version is the same: the only one i'd like to buy is the R8 V8 version, obviously with manual gear.
