| Website Story : Newsletter #25The 997 GT3 Cup is back ! EnduRacers happily unveil a new high quality projet featuring the famous Porsche racing car. The mod based model was unveiled in early 2010 and was immediately introduced into the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup, the Carrera Cups in Germany, Asia, Japan and Italy as well as the GT3 Cup Challenges in the USA and the Middle East. The Team has decided to feature the 5 biggest championships around the world : Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup, Porsche Carrera Cup Deutschland, Porsche Carrera Cup Great Britain, Porsche Carrera Cup France and Porsche Carrera Cup Italy . Some bonus skins of the other championships will be available in the mod. 1 - INFORMATION* Originally scheduled for rFactor2, the mod will be released first on rFactor 1, and is sheduled later on a currently unknown platform. There is no release date scheduled. * The v1.0 version of the mod will feature 2010 and 2011 seasons. The 2012 and 2013 entries are sheduled as future additional packages, since the car versions have been modeled. * After the mod initial release, community skinners will be free to create and send to us skins from the bonus championships, to include them officially in the mod. * We can moreover confirm you that the car has been designed in GTC configuration too, and will be added in the Endurance Series mod, in a timeline not defined yet. * Our website will be updated in few days to feature the new mod. First ingame screenshots will be diffused in few days. 2 - LINKSFacebook Page Official Website Official Forum3 - THE CAR EnduRacers Modding Team

| Nice! This new generation PCC would be a good platform for leagues to move from rF1 to rF2. | |

| Nice project, we will wait this one for sure some questions: - will it be completly new physics or will you use 1st gen PCC V1.1 as base for begining ? - will you do (if it is possible in rfacor) the difference between standard brake of national PCC and carbon brake on Supercup ? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Porsche_Supercup - Quote :
- In the Porsche Supercup the 911 GT3 Cup type 997 is deployed - a car based on the Porsche 911 Carrera. All vehicles are technically identical: 450 hp, sequential six-speed gearbox, aero pack, Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake (PCCB), 1,200 kg. The PCCB is deployed exclusively in Porsche Supercup.
- if possible, can you do the T-Camera on roof for PMSC as an upgrade option ? http://porschebahn.files.wordpress.com/2011/07/2011-supercup-nc3bcrburgring-5.jpg http://dedeporsche.files.wordpress.com/2011/07/m11_2894_fine.jpg?w=645 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Porsche_michelin_supercup_ims_2005.jpg seen on rF GSMF porsche too. thanks and good alpa/beta tests

Completely new, and closer than ES SP2 physics than PCC. - Mathieu wrote:

For the moment the plan is to make only one type of brake to avoid online problem and allow to use all the car without difference on track. - Mathieu wrote:

| I think it's important to be clear on some important points :
- Our statement was based on rF2 beta release and the fact that it would last around 6 month only. After the release we saw it was disapointing and it would take much more then 6 month to be good quality.
- The 997 GT3 mod was originaly a lab project to learn rFactor2. It's still a lab even if we've stopped our tests on it for the moment. And We've been clear on the fact that we would never release anything on a beta game.
- Some weeks ago, as the car was well advanced we though that it would be a great idea to make an anticipated release on the old platform that we know well. Only because we like what we've created and want to share it with you. The car is high quality, higher than anything created yet. We could simply have wait several month to respect our original statement, but we want to please you.
- By "unknown platform" we does not mean a platform that do not exists yet. It means that there are currently 2 potential platforms, rF2 and Asseto, and we've not made our choice. It will take several month before we take a decision, probably.
I hope this is more clear now, but do not hesitate to tell me if it's not.

| The current Porsche GT2 wheels on the 996 and 997 don't look much like the real ones but more like the BBS one-piece wheels on other GT cars. The RSR default BBS wheels are clearly 2-piece (picture), by design they are more similar to the Cup wheels, but the dimensions are probably different. | |
