Sorry if this has been asked before (I couldn't find anything on it)... but are there future plans to make the Corvette with GT2 specs?

Maybe, but for the moment we concentrate on the SP1.

In theory: would it be possible to add animated arms for this mod? I guess rfactor does not support them, but it seems there are a few open wheel mods out there with moving arms, so i thought it would be possible to add them to gt and lmp cars as well? Do you plan such an add-on in the future? I think that would be a major improvement, moving arms are the only things that are really missing from this mod.

Dunno if you already know but..for to solve that problem you can see in motec (some graphic problems when you do races ) you need to change/differentiate all materials and dds in every .gmt motec display file (in all cars).

Yes but our problems are on leds materials, and led's materials can't be changed, so it's impossible to solve it on rF1.

yes regarding leds i'm agree, but regarding others (timelaps ecc...) you can solve it using all different settings in .gmt display files ;)

And that is what we've done, each motec has his own materials and i've never seen problems on the dynamics parts of motec, only on leds materials.

I confirm, since always the motec in online have a part of other motec in another color (blue rectangle). It's written in the readme, and we have no solution to solve it, like said by Kloche, the materials are separated, but rF is strange on this point.

No Mad, for the parts where the bugs are seen, the materials are not separated, they are the leds material, and the name is defining the type of led, so can't be changed Here is the problem. I hope rF2 can change that.

Is really different from your version...so, my question is:
new (2009 evo) C8 Spykers have a different V8 engine?? seems to sounds similar to a V8 ferrari, really different to 4.2 V8 Audi.

I have an idea. Since you guys are doing smaller SP's following SP1, why don't you make themed SP's. SP2, just Prototypes, and SP3, just GT Vehicles. I'd be thrilled if the next 2 SP's were:

SP2: LMP's
Lola-Aston Martin B09/60
Pescarolo 01
Courage LC70
Lola B08/80

SP3: GT's
Spyker C8 Laviolette GT2-R (if not in SP1)
Lamborghini Murcielago
Aston Martin V8 Vantage GT2
Maserati MC12 (Since you're doing FIA GT Cars)

I will not be offended if my idea isn't used

Spyker's already in the game mate, check under 2006/2007. It was one of the first cars released.
I would however love to the see the V8 Vantage, it sounds seriously good. Almost like a Corvette but more refined, so to speak.

The Spyker I'm talking about, is the improved version used from 2008-onwards. I am aware that the original Spyker C8 is in the base pack. :lol:

have you seen my past post? :D you can find difference. Spyker C8 Spyder for 2005-2007, and Spyker C8 Laviolette for 2008-2010. Two different models (yes there are little differences, exept for engine, different).

Hey Guys is thnere a chance for a last minute change or have you maybe done some changes to the steering lock settings for the SP1 update?

I'm driving with 900° rotation and it would be great if the steering lock goes up to 35 or something like that! If not I would have to change that by myself and possibly get missmatches too.

There is no difference in the brands tires.

Speaking of cars we'd like to see in the near future in Service Packs, I for one hope to get my hands on the GT2 Corvette, so that I may fight the good fight against the Ferrari and Porsche teams. The more Corvettes the better! :bravo:
