Also RML P2 car (ARX-01d) will be raced as a Honda, not HPD.

new acura here

http://www.highcroftracing.com/news/2011/3/10/highcrofts-hpd-arx-01e-revealed.html

imho, it seems like everyone managed to build a relatively decent looking car for 2011. I hate to say this but most of these new cars are awesome (except the r18), even with the fin on top on some of them. Also rebellion racing's new colors are great

If the new ARX-01e was designed by Wirth Research... was the car was designed with CFD??

Did the older ARXs come from Wirth Research & CFD results?

The looks of the ARX-01e does not stand out (IMO like the AMR-One), looks like a Courage.

All the versions of ARX-01 (a,b,c,d,e) are based on Courage LC75 tub.

ARX-01a, b, c, d and e were also designed by Wirth Research with CFD, and at the start tubs were Courage's. Now obviously the car is an incredibly good one: 3'33 at LM lats year in LMP2 ! Faster than many also petrol engined LMP1. Enough to prove that last year's LMP1 one team (and cars) were not good and should have not told so much of equivalence...

EDIT: grilled by the masked panda

Im pretty sure Wirth had nothing to do with the 01a and probably the 01b as well, it wasn't until they got involved with the 02 that they started working on the 01 as well.

I missed some hours of 12H Sebring because i went out home with friends but..good edition! Congrats for Oreca Peugeot, Lola Honda, BMW and Sean Edwards for podium!! :bravo:
Only negative thing is the new safety procedure: too much long, terrible.

Yes I agree with the longer of the Yellow flags times :wrong:

Look at the best time by car, Sean Edwards is the first in GTC :bravo:

After Oreca win, all other LMP1s can remove that ugly fin. No needed at all.

After driving a few laps at VLM's Sebring now I understand why Melo had back problems! Some corners feel like falling down the stairs.

GTC is useless in ILMC race. But anyway, I'm happy for Black Swan, strongest team of the category with TRG and AJR :lol4:

Sean edwards is damn fast and i hope to see him in a prototype soon. I raced against him in rfactor once and he is damn fast. He has some epic video's on his youtube account (including some rfactor video's).
