GTC is a great class IMHO but..i prefer to see eventually more GT2/GT1/LMP2/LMP1 cars. :)

A Supercup 2010 mod would be nice yes but...Endurance mod take a LOT of time on it =)

OT i'm reading some critics regarding tires on VirtualR ( last post about video trailer). I invited those guys here if they have some constructive critics.

I invite them to learn to drive and wait the SP1 ;) It's not a problem on the tires. (I know it's teasing)

Well I've been a long time follower of your work guys and I have to say,

That new SP1 Looks really AMAZING!!!!!!!

The base pack was awesome and the bar has been raised yet again.

Looking at the video there is only one thing. In the future will you do a different version of the Panoz?? The rFactor model looks a bit wierd with the high quality of the other cars.

Well that's about it from me at the moment.

I'll keep watching with great interest.

Well, for me a race car is totally different than a road car.
You can't simply exit boxes and do stunning timelaps, you need to learn, feel sensations, study the car you're driving. I usually spend A LOT on doing setups, using (LOL) experience and MoTeC. This takes hours, and lots of laps. I'm not fast, but...learning car give me possibility to find my limits.
For me, if you don't spend time on setups, you can't do your maximum performance. Race car..is a race car, extreme, dangerous, difficult to take it to limit. You can't do one lap and understand it.
Am i wrong?

You're not. But average simracers always think they are the kings of drivers (if they were they would not spend their time behind a computer) and have a big ego and it's easier to critic the physics !

Anyway Mad has made a clear statement, they worked a lot on the subject on the year done, you will have the result in the SP1, so let's just move on another subject and wait for the release to talk about it again.

I agree with the principle, Not mandatory to use the motec, but a car is to be learned before understand how to react with it. So to go fast and catch the limit, you need to make laps and increase your rhythm to catch the limit, and not the reverse, go to the limits and after say the car is bad or something else.

On the SP1 the physics are improved, it's a fact, and it's not the tires the issue that's lead to work on improvements ;). But the improvements, lead to feel better the cars and so be more reactive/feel better on the limit and so feel better the tires. And I'm sure the guys after the SP1 release that's say "the tires of the V1.2 was off", will say "now the tires of the SP1 are good", but the tire have not much changed in SP1.
It's a matter of feeling in our plastics wheels and way of driving that's lead to say the tires are good or not, not the physics themselves at this stage.

Sure, but..if you know the program you can easily do better setups and performances. I spent a lot of time to learn funcions and write my personal sheet (using some tutorials) but..now for me is relatively simple modify setups and find all driving errors during laps.
You can also work on strategy...working on fuel usage ecc..
Definately a great and useful program.

To be quick, yes ;), not to drive a car correctly in the ES. That's why I said "it's not mandatory".

There is not mutch different with the Oreca version we did : different diffuser sides, and an additional rear light in the middle. Rest is same then our version. Custom Larbre modifications probably.

For your information we can confirm you that the 2010 aero kit of the 908 will be integrated in the SP1 (slight changes at rear).

No changes on Ferrari and Acura. 908 was just a last minute bonus because it's a very very small change and because it allows to add the 2010 factory skins to the skins in the mod.

Additional updates are welcomed later like you did with the 997 RSR ;) Personally I think the HPD ARX-01b/c with the 2010 front end aero looks really cool.

Besides the aerodynamic upgrades, the cockpit of the Porsche GT3 RSR was also modified, as in this photo?: (sorry for my bad english)

I haven't posted in a while, so sorry if this is asked.

What Series will have the largest number of entries? If you don't understand the question, the 2006 LMS and 2006 24Hr sets both had enough cars to fill 26 grid spots without repeating a car. What series has the largest entry list and how many cars are in that series in SP1?

For me it's the 24H of LeMans (each years or recent years) because there is about 55 entry in the race. But in the mod all cars are not made, so I don't know, the full grid is on GT I think the FIAGT for the mod, but no prototypes.
