| Thanks, for the update, I'll test it tonight. Although I reckoned the rear of the GT1 car to be to loose with v1, with SP1 it was already much better and with the 997 my setups are mostly much more oversteery than default so don't really understand what they're on about. | |

| Ciao a tutti,
thanks a lot for this huge work, I hope you will continue the good job despite the bad comments coming from real GT drivers ;)
I have great pleasure to drive the cars, the feeling is very good!
Merci encore pour votre travail et j'espère voir encore de belles réalisations de votre part.

| Hey guys thanks for the hard work!
I can't wait to try out the latest version of an AMAZING mod.
But I seem to have an annoying problem. I have tried to download from a couple different sites, and it keeps locking up on me. I get about half way down with the download then it stops. The ones I have used are megaupload, and one of them other ones.
Even currently as I type it seems to have done the same thing again.
Well, I guess I gotta keep trying!
Not sure if these sites can hold the size of file you guys are releasing, but it seems on my end, I have best luck with FILEFRONT and MEDIAFIRE. Maybe in the future you guys can use one of them.
Hoping I can get the file eventually, see you on the track!
and thanks! | |

| Alright, I got it figured out somehow! I think since I was using the same megaupload link, it kept getting jacked up for some reason.
All good now, got the file from one of the other links.
Time to install and drive!

| Hi guys,
Thanks once again for a great update - I didn't notice many of the bugs but it's always good to tidy them up.
Physics-wise it seems great to me, spent an hour yesterday lapping the 908 and if anything I find there is still a reasonable ammount of mid-corner understeer with the default set ups, however this can be solved easily with a minor few set up tweaks or a more aggressive turn in. Overall - fantastic!
One question I've had since the first release of this mod: Can you force the AI to run with headlights at all times as in real sportscar racing?

nice question, +1 No it's not possible, the game decide to switch on light only at defined race time (manage by the game engine).

Is there any way that the 'Off' state of the headlights could be changed to headlights and to reserve the 'On' state for high beams?

There is. I've seen it done in some Polish league mod. That would be cool. My question is, can it be linked with ignition? i.e. ignition ON = running lights ON.

I don't think so. There is no 100 ways to do lights, what they probably did is that they putted them just as any other parts of the car (not specific headlights), so it works at everytime the car is on track or in pits, and they just add the ground illumination as lights for night. And in addition to be a fake working way, it makes impossible several things like high beams for exemple. We prefer wait to see what rF2 may allow us on this domain, it's more safe. And no it's not a "mod", it's a rip. ;)

| Ok, so you know what I'm talking about. I've only seen the videos, but I'm not a fan of how it looks because of the exaggerated lens flares. I do like the idea though. With rF lights on, the flare effect should be like it is in ES SP1 at the moment. With rF lights off, there can be very slight flares attached to the car so that it would look like running lights.
Btw, I had a 3 hour (day-night) race at Spa yesterday and once again want to thank you so much for reworking the lights. The experience was mind-blowing.

| 'm really sorry but the majority of big players "Endurance Series" is the updated physics a bad taste of "PlayStation", the physics of Sp1 was certainly some small defects (slipstream, engine braking) but it was very funny with a good compromise arcade / simulation, we visit the physics of Sp1! :) | |

| Well, first time of the patch I had a feeling of driving arcade-style. That "more" of mechanical grip seems to bring too high speeds in corners. May be it is just a feeling?!
I think the cars are much easier to handle in low-speeds but in high-speeds it feels like before. Driving on the edge didn't become easier I think.
I liked the physics of SP1 - you needed a bit more skill to handle the cars...
This are just my impressions - don't know if I am right!

| found a video about that lights Edit : no illegal mods here IMHO result is not bad i like their shaders, they give a lot of realism more at cars, except night lights effect. EDIT one more Edit : no illegal mods here Sadly that's an illegal mod. | |
