Dream cars list

I'm sure its been mentioned somewhere, but the Ford GT is one of my favorite cars in the series. The V8 sound just bring a smile to my face.

I would love to see the cars from the 2010/2011 ALMS seasons, including the class additions/reorganizations... LMP1, LMP2, LMPC, GT, and GTC. Primary additions would be the Oreca PC, the Porsche 911 in GTC, filtering out the GT1 cars, adding the Ford GT, BMW M3, Jaguar, and GT2-spec Corvette, etc.

I'm not going to post a huge list of cars.

Personally, I would like to see the following.

LMP2:

Lola B08/80 Mazda
Lola B08/80 Judd

GT2:

BMW E92 M3

I would also like to see the LMPC and GTC classes.

But if you guys did the Lola/Mazda and the BMW E92, I would be set. I would not need any other cars to drive.

About the LMPC class:

Aren't those Oreca FLM09 cars really similar to the Courage AER chassis/physics already?

Seems to me that all we need is a V8 sound and some skins for that class. I am willing to do the skinning work

No because the FLM is based on the Courage LC70, not the C65. It's a LC70 chassis with different engine.

Thats a shame, would have loved to drive those cars in league races.

I did not said we won't do them, i just say that in real the FLM is based on a newer chassis than the C65.

It's clearly written on the blog, the guy works for GTR2 and rFactor. And the layout seems to be not bad.

For me is really, really good, based from Google Earth map, tons of videos and with some help by guys who lives at Le Mans. That guy works really well and i'm sure will do a great job with that track.
Needs to tweak imho some banking and some elevations but, layout is really good and accurate.

Finally we'll have a good modern version of La Sarthe Circuit.

Nothing says it will be released soon, there seems to be lot of work needed still :)

But anyway it's indeed cool news, even if a saw several others rumors of the track modern layout being developed, so it's not the first time i see that.

Surely, the author also wrote the same thing :) needs to do all buildings around track, and looks an huge work.
Actually his studying for last university exams but, after that he says he wants to finish track.

yes me too but this time seems to be a true attempt. We'll see.

Let's just wait for the version in works and see how it will go.

I think with some optimisation it would do well on PC. There are bigger problems than that, a). I don't think anyone was yet able to convert anything from GT5, b). you mentioned the word 'legal', dream on :)

So let's concentrate on the versions in wip and give motivation to these guys. It's indeed better to promote scratch work then conversions.

Yes definately. I'm waiting for a good Spa version from scratch too; actually i've found the best one available imho but..is illegal because it's simbin games based.
