Broken or corrupted files

I have been trying to install the mod, but all part 1 files (two sites) have a problem with Sounds\SR7\power.wav.
The file extracts and when you click "run" it starts the installation, but it hen halts with a warning of invalid data and stops the installation.
I downloaded the exe file from this forum, the install icon shows up, but when you click "run", it displays" invalid data". System OS: Win 2000 SP3.
Any ideas or suggestions? I think this mod will be great when it installs.
