Ye Dedios, i think that Corvette and BMW will be very fast. BMW doesnt really have the top speed for pole position or something, but their car doesnt have so many faillures as the porsche or corvette or something.
So it will be a nice 24 h:), looking forward to the new c8 aileron from spyker in 2012

What about books? I've purchased the Le Mans Series 2009 yearbook from Apollo Publishing, and it's awesome ( stunning pics in photo paper and a CD with all the results and even more pictures). I've already ordered the 2008 and 2010 Le Mans Series Yearbooks!
Here is the link: http://www.apollo-media.net/pages/commande.htm
P.S.: you can preview the 2009 yearbook here:http://www.apollo-media.net/pages/livres_lmes.htm

Also it seems that Brabs parted ways with Highcroft. For some reason I don't believe they'll do much beyond IndyCar any time soon. The situation with sponsorship in ALMS looks rather dire.

The Golden Era of FIA GT was, in my opinion, it's first years (97,98). Those where the days when we had Mercedes CLK GTR, Porsche 911 GT1 and McLaren F1 GTR all battling for the win. Before that i think the BPR series where also terrific, again with the McLaren F1 GTR, and showcasing the Lotus Esprit V8 GT, Venturi LM, Ferrari F40LM, Porsche 911 GT2, Lister Storm. Sit Back and enjoy these videos.
How Mercedes started in FIA GT....

So..are you ready for Le Mans? :D Wich car will win this year? Peugeot, Audi or (almost impossible) a petrol car? Personally i'll follow mainly the GT-Pro category, AF Corse #51 car

All diesels crash into each other in the 1st corner, private aston win.
Porsche win in GT in front of aston. Corvette, Ferrari and Lotus disqualified for gayness.

Personally i think Peugeot is faster than Audi, and car is better in terms of reliability. BUT we'll see.
Go Pescarolo!! i hope they will do a great race, the home race for Henri.

I was just comparing it with the diesel engines. Nevertheless, i think it's a great sound even not being the V12 used in the Lola-Aston.
